I don't write reviews often but I needed to after my first visit here! The food and service was excellent for this unassuming place. You'd think from the name it's like a sports bar or something but it's the complete opposite lol. It's reservation and pre-order only by email/phone and cash/debit/e-transfer only. The menu is all available on their site. Takeout containers aren't available there so you'd have to bring your own. This place is great for special occasions as they have more fancier French Italian dishes and appetizers, but also a lot of casual options too (I can't speak to the authenticity cause my knowledge of that is not great but it was yummy so who cares). The risotto funghi was amazing (not mushy!) and a great portion size. I only tried a bite of the beef wellington but it was delicious as well, and cooked wonderfully. And service was so caring and attentive but not in-your-face. The timing of the dishes was perfect and they were so nice. Atmosphere is dated but I couldn't care less about that, I'd eat the food if the restaurant was in a dumpster. Definitely would come again to try more items on the menu! And highly recommend if you're looking for a more elevated meal, which I feel is hard to find in the tri-cities.
Our group reserved a table here, we also pre ordered few days in advance. Food doesn't get prepared till everyone in your group arrives. The food was amazing! Presentation was good and the taste was good. Service was amazing. Desserts were great too. Nice cozy little place with nice interior. Parking is around but may be tough depending on what time you go. I highly recommend this place! Thank you Henry's Kitchen!
If possible, I would give 10 stars. I made a reservation at Henry’s kitchen for our anniversary. They had arranged a very beautiful table for us. Food and desserts could not be better. Great service and a nice ambiance
Amazing dinner and experience. Make sure to make a reservation and pre order your food! We celebrated My wifes birthday here and had a great dinner. Service and food was top notch!
Henry's Kitchen is back open for dine in! Make sure you make a reservation via email with your preorders because that's the only way to get in! Everything was cooked perfectly and large portions for French cuisine! We had the duck breast, beef wellington as mains. Escargot and house made bread as starters. I highly recommend the duck! I'm so glad they're back open for dining in as ordering to go just wasn't the same. We will for sure be back again.
The Missus and I have driven by Henry's Kitchen many times on St. Johns Street and always wanted to try. We were happy we finally did. Jasmine provided exceptional table service and tended to our needs. She has a very friendly demeanor and we had a nice chat. The food is freshly made after you arrive. One could taste the high quality of the food preparation. We thoroughly enjoyed our Caesar Salad, Crab Cake, Linguine Pescatora, German Pork Knuckle, Tiramisu and Chocolate Ganache. The homemade bread was a good way to start of our meal. The restaurant has limited hours. Reservations are required as well as preordering your meal to avoid food waste. There is plenty of parking in the area. We would highly recommend for a nice evening dinner.
Good food and exceptional service. This is the type of place you leave knowing the chef and server’s names, Henry and Jasmine. I really appreciate all the care and effort put into our dining experience here. Thank you!
A gem of a place that operates on a pre-order basis. The homemade focaccia, fresh lobster pasta, perfectly cooked medium-rare beef Wellington, and nougat glace were all absolutely satisfying. I would love to visit again. Thank you for celebrating my birthday! I was truly touched by your kindness.
